J-Fusion Delegation’s Inspection Tour of Spain and Signing of Industrial Cooperation MOU
On December 2-3, 2025, a delegation from the Japan Fusion Energy Industry Council (J-Fusion) visited Spain to inspect facilities related to fusion energy (nuclear fusion power generation) and participate in related events.
During the visit, the delegation toured relevant facilities at IFMIF‑DONES in Granada, southern Spain. They also presented the initiatives and future prospects of both J‑Fusion member companies and DONES, fostering a productive exchange of views.
Additionally, in Madrid, Spain, J‑Fusion Director Yasuhide Yamada signed a memorandum of understanding on industrial cooperation in fusion energy with Miguel Carrera, President of the Spanish Science and Industry Council (INEUSTAR).
